May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.

Bob was a reader and a writer, but he was also a quiet and deeply creative artist. His work was personal, thoughtful, and uniquely his.
We are honored to memorialize that creativity by offering a small collection of custom framed and matted prints, journals, notecards, and other paper goods created from his original artwork.
All proceeds from these precious and one-of-a-kind pieces will be donated toward Bob’s Memorial Ceremony. We can’t think of a better way to honor his legacy than by sharing the work he loved to create.

The Book of Bob
In lieu of a printed program, flowers, or cards, we wanted to create something lasting—a legacy for Bob that honors his love of a good book and a good laugh.
The Book of Bob is being created as a collective remembrance, built from stories, memories, and the words that only Bob used the way Bob used them. Short stories, long stories, one-liners, passing moments, inside jokes—there is no right or wrong way to remember him. If it made you laugh, pause, think, or shake your head, it belongs here.
The book will also include a dictionary of “Bobisms”—the phrases, words, and expressions he used so often they became their own language.
For example:
Bob-ism
noun
A conversational principle Bob followed consistently: start with a compliment, even when it was unnecessary, misplaced, or slightly confusing.
How’d you sleep?
common usage
A morning greeting indicating awareness that sleep had occurred, without implying interest in the details.
The night before Bob passed, Jared shared a quiet and meaningful moment with him. Bob spoke about how he wanted to be remembered. Not for accomplishments or milestones—but for his love. His love of people, of words, of stories, and of connection.
This book is our way of honoring that wish.
We invite you to be part of this unique opportunity to help complete The Book of Bob. Together, we will gather our cherished memories, our laughter, and our words—and publish a book that carries his voice forward.
The Book of Bob. Written by all of us.
